The Days My Blog Died….Yet Again

by Silicon Valley Blogger on December 20, 2006

That was yesterday and today. My apologies… I should have realized that while we were gone for that short bit of time, we would have Murphy’s Law claim our sites. So if you tried to pay us a visit and couldn’t get through….well, it wasn’t exactly our servers that were in question but possibly our dynamic DNS provider. So there you have it: down but unbowed. We are finally back and hopefully I’ll figure out how to get more reliability in place for this weblog. If anyone out there has suggestions on where I can get great customer service, decent availability/reliability and a flexible environment for hosting a WordPress site, I’d love to hear it!

Your suggestions, advice and comments are much appreciated!

Hey thanks for visiting my blog! As to hosting, I don’t know very much about it. But I’ve heard good things about DreamHost. Jonathan at mymoneyblog.com also wrote about it.

I have had a good experience with HostGator so far. Of all the hosts I have used over the years, they are by far the best.
