Not too long ago, I joined the Investor’s Blog Network when it had less than 10 blogs in the group. Membership to this finance network has now swollen to over three times what it used to be! I’m amazed. So guess what. The festival also has grown to accommodate many great posts from its financial blog members, and here’s where you can read up on what the investing blogosphere has been up to.
I’ve included short snippets from the submissions that were received, to give you an idea of what the articles are offering:
Debt Free presents Stock Investing: 4 Factors Precipitating Strong Growth in Stock Prices.
It’s common financial wisdom that stocks are the best investment over the long term. While true on the face of it; that may not mean that stocks are always the best investment for the bulk of your retirement savings. I recently read The Little Book of Common Sense Investing: The Only Way to Guarantee Your Fair Share of Stock Market Returns (Little Book Big Profits) and simply LOVED it. Ask Uncle Bill offers Taking Away The PunchBowl–Why The Stock Market Could Go Down “Big Time”.
Just when things start going good somebody wants to spoil the party. Nothing out there right now to torpedo the market but a couple of events that could mess things up around 2010 or 2011. Who cares?–that is light years away, you say. True enough but the market is a discounter of future events. The market deals with events before they happen.

Online Stock Trading covers Online Stock Trading Mid-Day Trading.
In my last post, I bought some gold stocks. I’ve also traded other stocks today, but I’d like to point out something about mid-day trading. After the first hour and a half, you start to get into the time of day when trading action, and market patterns sometimes aren’t reliable, or too be believed.

Project Stocks advises us that we can Beat the Market with Only 15 Minutes of Work Per Year.
If you know anything at all about investing, you’ve probably been told that you should not chase performance. I have always heard that the top mutual funds over a 10-year period will not perform well the following 10 years, so don’t buy funds just because they did well in the past.
