Happy Halloween! The last few days have been pretty busy getting ready for this event that my kids have been so looking forward to. Yesterday, I spent the morning walking my three-year-old around his preschool premises doing a bit of trick-or-treating along with his class. Today, I’m doing the same thing with my family in tow, snapping pics of my older child in Kindergarten doing the customary school parade. Then in the evening, we halve our time giving away goodies to the costumed neighborhood kids while later doing the trick-or-treating rounds ourselves, all after carving several pumpkins we got from a couple of pumpkin patch visits. Packed schedule and a lot of photo ops. :)

Just as packed is a great halloween extravaganza going on at Millionaire Mommy Next Door, who did a stellar job putting together polls and a contest with prizes (!) for the Carnival of Personal Finance, Trick or Treat Edition. I’d like to thank her for selecting my post as one of the Editor’s Picks and to all those who voted in the polls!
