The Carnival of Personal Finance will be here shortly!
While Santa Claus is coming to your town, the Carnival of Personal Finance will be alighting on our doorstep at around the same time!
So as the year winds down while the winds pick up, and we all settle in to enjoy our Christmas parties and time with our loved ones, I’ve decided to sign up to host the Carnival of Personal Finance. Why I did it in the midst of all the hectic holiday hullabaloo going on right now, I’m not sure, but I’m more than excited to bring to you more in the realm of finance, from those bloggers out there who manage to escape hangovers or have the energy to still join in on next week’s carnival action! There’s the rest of this week to submit your posts, which you can do here! I would like to thank Flexo for the opportunity to host.
I’m very happy to host in the footsteps of Get Rich Slowly, who presented this week’s Carnival of Personal Finance: Naughty or Nice Edition. Some articles that caught my fancy:
- Best PF practices of the year! @ Mrs. Micah
- 5 Reasons Why I Have a Crush on My Parents’ Retirement Magazines @ The Frugal Duchess
- Paying A High Price For Ignorance @ Investing Lessons
I also participated in the Festival of Frugality #105 - The Holiday Edition, which was held at FIRE Finance. There I found these frugal gems:
- Frugal Grocery Shopping for City Folk @ Cheap Healthy Good
- Annual Energy Bill Reduction @ The Wastrel Show
- Money Saving Monday Tip#19 - A better shave for less money @ Gather Little By Little
- Luxuries in my budget @ Living Almost Large
And after a hiatus, I finally made it to the Carnival of Real Estate this week, courtesy of the Laguna Niguel Real Estate Blog, who hosted the Carnival of Real Estate: By The Beach edition. I’m glad to have made the cut this time!
