Happy Heart Day!
I’m keeping it a bit short and sweet this time…
Thanks to My Dollar Plan for a job well done with the Carnival of Personal Finance #139: Valentine Edition and for selecting my post as one of her Editorial Picks! Some of the posts I enjoyed over there:
- Investment Strategy Update – One Month @ My Family’s Money
- Some Credit Card Trends I foresee in 2008 @ Ask Mr. Credit Card
- The Psychology of Money: Sad people are willing to pay more @ Money and Values
And this time, my neighbor Lazy Man and Money (I suspect we live within 15 minutes of each other) hosted the Festival of Frugality #112 with a huge turnout. These entries stood out for me:
- Little Steps: 100 Great Tips For Saving Money For Those Just Getting Started @ The Simple Dollar
- Romance Without Finance is Ignorance @ Savvy Frugality
- We Live the Good Life, Not the Goods Life @ Millionaire Mommy Next Door
- Not Good Enough For Goodwill? @ A Penny Closer
And I’ve Paid For This Twice Already honors this day with her presentation of the Cavalcade of Risk #45 ~ Is Love a Risk? I was quite happy for my submission to have been selected as one of her Editor’s Choices as well!
Enjoy your romantic dates, everyone!

Perhaps 15 minutes with no traffic. Someday I’ll crack your secret for finding such fantastic photos.
Yeah, still wondering when we should get together with the other Bay Area pf-heads.
Post photos? You can get them with your basic online search, but it can take a while to stumble upon the right one. This one was an easy find though!
