I was excited to find out that one of my fellow money bloggers (or shall we say “Money Writers“!), Steve aka Brip Blap, has just announced he’s going to give PRO-blogging a whirl. I suppose he’s going to try it out to see if it suits him.
Excellent! Kudos to him for taking the plunge into the abyss that is blogging about money for money.
On another note, we’ve got some nice collections of money articles at your friendly neighborhood financial carnivals. This time around, The Happy Rock gives us the 149th Carnival of Personal Finance, Chasing Dreams Edition. It was well put together with enriching articles as these posts will attest:
- Teenage Millionaires @ Millionaire Money Habits
- How To Create An Alternative Source Of Income Part 7 @ The Financial Blogger
- Debunking the Money Myth @ Alpha Consumer
Find this week’s Festival of Frugality #122, the Paragraph Edition at On Financial Success, where you’ll be treated to a list of great money-saving tips such as:
- A “Decent” Lifestyle @ Quest For Four Pillars
- This American Dream @ The MotherLoad
- Locking Financial Horns @ Bits of Pieces
A few other money carnivals around the web this week:
- Carnival of Money Stories #56, Once Upon A Time @ Can I Get Rich On A Salary
- Festival of Stocks #85 @ Can I Get Rich On A Salary: I quite enjoyed the Man on the Moon theme.
Nice story thread going on here! - The Carnival of Debt Reduction, No Debt Plan Edition @ No Debt Plan
Thanks for the great writeups!

Eh, blush blush blush. Let’s hope my trial run works out well - I hope it does. But one of the biggest motivators is getting support from others (like you, SVB) so thanks! I will do the best I can!
Thanks a lot for the link - glad you enjoyed the post!
Thanks SVB, and congrats Steve!
