Who Pays More Taxes? Problem Banks, Retirement Cash Flow @ The Roundup

by Silicon Valley Blogger on September 4, 2008

Around the blogosphere, I’m suddenly seeing a new spark alight on the subject of blogging. Is this the latest hot topic (or discussion du jour) online: blogging for money? I’ve also noticed a little explosion of new financial bloggers contributing to threads and roundups. Well, whether or not you decide to get into such an activity, I’d like to introduce you to a few of us who have decided to “write and blog ABOUT money” — here are some financial articles out there this week!

Thanks for the link! I will enjoy checking out all of these other great links you have posted!

I’m new here, so this round up was very helpful … many of the names are new to me. Thanks particularly for the referrals to Frugal Dad (great blog) and the article on Consumerism Commentary about sleep. I can certainly relate to the lack of sleep problem!

@Briana,
Your post was great! Thanks for stopping by!

@Matt,
I’m glad you’re able to visit with us Matt! Welcome to The Digerati Life! You’ll get to know more about the finance blog community by just following the links in my roundups and carnival posts (published typically in the middle of the week and weekends). Most people in the financial blogosphere do roundups in order to virtually “connect” with one another. Well I guess it’s a literal connection when you think about it ;) . Anyway, glad to have you here and don’t be shy about leaving comments! It’s a great way for others to know more about you as well.

Cheers,
-SVB

The seven deadly sins of personal finance, I think I commit about 5. Oh well I am trying to get better. Great list though, you should check out “the happy rock”, another great personal finance blog.

Ed: Thanks for the shout out to other bloggers. :)

SVB,
I gotta say that you must be somewhat of an energizer bunny. I like piggy backing off of your apparently voracious reading of personal finance sites. I check your blog daily to get all the info without spending the time to read the 200 blogs that you must follow. Thanks for helping all of us folks out here! We appreciate it!

@Joe

Thanks for the compliments! I have regular link outs to all my blogging friends every week, but if you are interested in visiting other PF blogs, you can find most of them in pfblogs.org. :)

Btw, Joe, thanks for your comments — great stuff you share with us here!

I’ve also noted the trend recently ( realize this article was published a while back ). I’m certain that you can bank on the best getting to the top. Doesn’t really matter the trend , the best are still the only ones that make it to the top.
