The northeastern U.S. had 70 degree weather while we had some cold storms recently. The skies have been crazy.
It’s been quite a bit of time since I did a carnival roundup. I was overwhelmed over the holidays and had to skip out on a lot of the carnival festivities for a while. This time, I’m a bit overwhelmed at home dealing with the aftermath of the recent inclement weather we’ve had (yard is a shambles and Christmas lights need to be put away) and coping with the handiwork of the bug I took home and shared with other family members. So with everyone needing care and attention and my having to run endless movie loops of the Teletubbies, Boobah and Maurice Sendak to appease the unwell, my posts are coming out later and later in the day. I hope you can bear with me as I try to keep up the pace here.
But I finally got my act together this week just enough to join some carnivals. Allow me to present my 2008 inaugural Carnival Roundup.
I was able to catch the Carnival of Personal Finance 134: Building on the Basics at Mrs. Micah who did a splendid job putting a huge list together. I must thank her as well for selecting my entry as an Editor’s Pick! I also have a few picks of my own:
- Personal Finance by Micheal Scott of The Office… @ Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Money
- Rehabilitate Your Finances @ Clever Dude
- How attending a funeral can change perspectives @ Father Sez
- Remembering Why I Never Want Another Credit Card @ Finance and Fat
The king of carnival hosting, Patrick at Cash Money Life has come up with yet another presentation for us at the Festival of Frugality #107 – The Little Things Edition. You’ll be able to find these articles and more…over there:
- Recoup Your Holidays Shopping Expenses with Price Protection @ Moolanomy
- My 2007 Budget Analysis @ Money Ning
- CVS, Extra Care Rewards, and Store Brands @ Paid Twice
- You don’t have to pay for your child’s college education @ Rocket Finance
You can also catch the Carnival of Real Estate #72 – New Year’s Edition at Boozwatt where I was happy to make the cut.
I’ll be publishing more carnival links by the end of the week.
