It’s the end of the week and I’m a little late with my money articles roundup, and for this I apologize! Though I’m sure it won’t be the last time — the reality TV season has just begun to take off, work has started to pick up and the weather is beginning to get warm enough to allow us some family time outdoors. But I’ll do my best to keep up with the posts. So here we go:
Articles I Liked
Golbguru @ The Tao Of Making Money has analyzed the heck out of billionaires this time. Check out Of People With More Than $1 Billion Net Worth. Very eye-opening!
JLP @ All Financial Matters shares his own personal story with How We Got Out of Credit Card Debt. I never realized that JLP had credit card debt. But his is another success story full of topnotch advice.
Ben @ Money Smart Life passes along some great tips on How To Avoid Paying Sales Tax. If you hate sales taxes like I do, then you need to hightail yourself over there to see what he has to say.
Steve @ Steve-Olson.com shares How To Become A Better Athlete – A Geek’s Story in his usual, wonderful, entertaining way. He’s one of the most masterful storytellers I’ve come across.
Dave Conrey @ Mode – A Vehicle For Change writes You Don’t Need A Title To Be A Leader. There are many unsung people out there who move mountains. These are the people who need and deserve our appreciation. That’s something I’ll always remember.
Besides hosting the Festival of Frugality #62, LazyMan @ Lazy Man And Money and I have had a few encounters this week (only in the blogosphere). Lately, he’s been covering his experiences as a lender on Prosper.com, which I’ve found fascinating. Here’s where he further explains this venture: Why Not Prosper? This article has been a magnet for dialogue on the subject of lending.
NCN @ No Credit Needed talks about how he goes about his days with No Credit Cards Needed. It’s a nice peek into someone’s money habits and seeing how he manages without credit cards. I can’t give up my lovely card though — just the convenience of charging for gas is huge to me.

Hey thanks for the plug! I finally took your advice and entered a few carnivals, but I don’t know if I got accepted to any of them. I haven’t seen any links yet, so I’m sitting in wait.
