One child too many?
This just in. Cheap as Chips has just reported what has got to be the dumbest lawsuit I’ve ever heard: parents sue IVF doctors for helping them birth a set of twins. The problem for these parents was that they only wanted ONE child. Well this hits a major nerve with me as I cannot believe how opportunistic some people can be, seeking to have their children become wards of some other entity, figuratively speaking. The issue here is that IVF technology isn’t a perfect science and multiple births is a *very* common risk you take when undergoing the treatment. I’ll have more to say about this some other time, but all I can say now is: can you imagine the impact of this information on their kids?
