Work expands to fill the time available.
A week has passed since I left the job I’ve held for over 5 years and already, I’m swamped! But in a good way
. Coincidentally, right when I quit, I signed up for a freelance project in the realm of blogging, would you believe! I’m also catching up on various affairs at home which I’ve swept under the rug for a while now, due to time constraints. I can no longer make excuses for the inaction on some of these tasks, so as far as a “vacation” goes, there’s no such thing for me.

It’s good to hear that you’re keeping busy and that you’re swamped! Some people might take that vacation and get into bad “lazy” habits but it seems like you’ve got what it takes to be very successful outside of the 9-5.
“Platinum is hot these days” I read an article in my local newspaper about people melting their old jewelry because of the very high gold prices.
Thanks for the great roundup. Reading Trent’s and the other PF stories has been very motivating.
Thanks for the mention!
Best Wishes,
