So the Carnival of Personal Finance: Greatest Hits Edition was published this week by Get Rich Slowly, where the 2nd anniversary of this carnival was commemorated. This was a special edition, where JD decided to encourage all finance bloggers to submit their best posts from the last 2 years. I opted to submit my favorite post in my entire blog — one which was personal and which spoke of my family, and that brought me back nice memories of the Yosemite vacation we enjoyed last winter. It’s also one of the rare opportunities I had to share a few flickr photos, minus actual people pictures (because just as many other bloggers have decided, I remain anonymous for good reasons).
The carnival was busting at the seams, loaded with contributions from both fresh and established finance bloggers. Here’s a sampling of the good stuff that was presented:
- 15 Things You Can Do Right Now To Help Your Career by The Simple Dollar
- What’s A Sound Financial Lifestyle? What 17 Bloggers Think And Why You Should Live It by The Mint Blog
- 10 important overall strategies you can take to minimize student debt, maximize return by Finance Physician
- Making The Financial Sacrifice To Get What You Want by My Two Dollars
- What is Real Net Worth? by Broke Now, Rich Later
- iLuddite by Living Behind The Curve
The Festival Of Frugality #79 at Finance Is Personal was just as packed. Over there I found:
- Ways to save money – Look like a hobo by Journey2Retirement
- Delayed Gratification Will Save You Money by The Happy Rock
- 17 Important Financial Tips for Women by Ask The Advisor
